Hope y'all are keeping safe! Our little studio is now closed to the public. Our space is transitioning into a shared studio and retail space (for now, virtual retail space), prioritizing BIPOC artists and makers. This is an active response to a system that marginalizes and oppresses some folks, while privileging others.
With our retail shop moving online, we'll be introducing new products and wares with minimal harm to humans, animals, and the environment. We wish we could say "without harm" but our system isn't designed that way. Long supply chains make it very hard to understand the true impacts of everything we consume. We believe in a new system that transcends the old through care, accountability, and redistribution.
We reject the harmful nature of capitalism and its negative impacts on Indigenous, Black, brown, marginalized bodies and the earth, and we want to do better! We’ll be announcing the launch this winter, and we will make sure to keep you up to date.
We’re excited to open this new chapter with you all, and we appreciate the support you continue to give.
