Many of you were lucky to know Zoe, and for those who didn't, she was an amazing young woman with a smile and laugh that lit up the planet. One of her friends pointed out that there's a big smile in this photo (snapped on Quarry Rock last night), can you spot it? It's how I'll always remember her.

Zoe was in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Recreation Management at BCIT and was set to graduate next year. She loved dogs, biking, hiking, rain, snow, sleet, mud, sunshine, friends, saltwater, family, her high school sweetheart...and her dream was to work in conservation.

Our trees are greener and our skies are bluer because we crossed paths with her and she'll always be a special part of our Cove.

Sending love. xox
